Organist Tim Showalter has been with St. Olave’s since 2004. He studied piano and organ with the late William France at Dominion Chalmers United Church in Ottawa, and obtained the A.R.C.T. diploma in Organ Performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music of Toronto. Since then he has held music director positions in a number of churches, mainly in Ottawa.
Tim leads the St. Olave’s Senior Choir every Sunday morning in hymns, psalms and anthems, as well as during choral Evensongs, the annual Lessons and Carols service, and other special services during the year.
The Choir rehearses every Thursday evening from 7:30 to 9:00 pm. Currently, nine men and women make up our group, and new members are always welcome. Please call Tim at 416-769-9953 if you are interested in joining.
